Mountain View Tire & 5 things you can do at home to maintain your car

October 19, 2016

Meet Nicole & Yuliana

of Mountain View Tire

What services does Mountain View Tire offer?

We are a full service Tire and Auto Repair center. We install new tires, perform oil change service, brake service, wheel alignment service, belts and hoses, shocks and struts, spark plug replacement. We also service the computer controlled system, emissions system, fuel system and transmission service. About the only things we do not do are Smog Inspections, windshield and auto body repairs.

What are 5 things people can do at home to upkeep the maintenance on their car?

  1. Have the air pressure in the tires checked regularly. This increases the life of the tires.

  2. Have your tires rotated every 6,000 miles. This also increases the life of the tires.

  3. Have the fluid levels, such as; oil, coolant and transmission fluids checked and changed regularly.

  4. Have the Engine Air Filter and Cabin Air filter (inside car)  checked regularly.

  5. Have the Wheel Alignment checked regularly. This may be the most important thing in extending the tread life of tires.
