Looking for a magical experience? Whether you’re new or well acquainted with the mystifying world of metaphysics, The Green Man is open to you!

Upon entering The Green Man, you will find yourself embraced by the aroma of incense and immersed in a warm welcoming environment. Filled to the brim with statuary, semi-precious stones and crystals, and a beautiful array of herbs, The Green Man is much more than just a metaphysical store. It is a community.

Prior to their location in Magnolia Park, Burbank The Green Man was located in North Hollywood. After seven years of rich community building, the pandemic caused them to unfortunately close doors. Their absence was undoubtedly felt, and while contemplating when to reopen the store, misfortune rocked their close-knit community ultimately giving birth to a new store and community right in the heart of Burbank.

Dedicated to cultivating a nurturing and supportive community, Griffin Ced, the manager of the store, finds that a common recurring issue in today’s society is finding a place to belong, and Griffin aims to solve that, specifically for those who are more spiritually inclined.

Although The Green Man has a wide variety of beautiful and useful metaphysical supplies, their pride and joy is held in the services, classes, and events that they host. They have an assortment of services, from custom spellcrafting to spiritual readings and healing sessions all done by friendly magical practitioners. Their classes boast an extended amount of interesting topics like clairvoyance and Hoodoo, all which are either hosted at the store or online on ZOOM.

The Green Man also hosts a variety of community building events and ceremonies. While they do hold religious ceremonies such as facilitating marriages and rituals for blessing the babies of expecting mothers, the heart of the community is in their spiritual celebrations. The Green Man holds ceremonies for every Sabbat (season) and Esbat (moon), large public offsite events for Beltane (May Day) and Samhain (Halloween), and fun smaller events like movie nights and tea parties. These events foster the strength that bonds their community together.

Griffin likens his community and The Green Man to a ride at Disneyland. The community is what brings everyone together and the store is akin to the gift store at the end of the ride, giving community members the supplies they need in their continued spiritual journey.

In the future, Griffin plans to continue to support and empower his community and cultivate a safe and successful network of people all on different spiritual paths.

So if you’re ever in the mood for spiritual knowledge, metaphysical supplies, finding your community, or even just looking for interesting knick knacks, The Green Man will welcome you with open arms.
